Sr. Program Mgr, Talent Acquisition Vendor Partnerships

Job Location Minneapolis, Minnesota

Position Purpose: 

This role is responsible for proactively building the necessary internal and external relationships to support a dynamic, fast-paced, and high-growth environment. This role will manage all aspects of hiring strategy and execution for our temporary, contract and contingent workforce across the enterprise, including Corporate, Manufacturing, Customer Service, and Field Service Teams. 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Define, organize and execute Sleep Number’s approach to 3rd party vendor partners. 
  • Manage relationships with Sleep Number's labor partners in multiple locations.
  • Continuously evaluate success of vendor partners based on performance, business and talent needs.  Prepare and analyze data to measure success, identify areas for process and performance improvement, and share insights & recommendations with leadership. 
  •  Lead RFP process when needed.
  • Act as a consultative partner across the organization to determine, communicate, and continuously evolve our contract labor strategy including vendor selection and candidate management. 
  • Negotiate bill rates, create and maintain purchase orders and maintain contract terminations and conversions.
  • Partner with coordinator team on all logistics for contractor interviews. Partner with assigned Talent Acquisition Partner to provide best in class service to hiring teams.
  • Ensure a positive and consistent candidate & business leader experience throughout the interview and onboarding processes.
  • Flex to provide sourcing support for the Talent Acquisition team as business needs require.

Key Performance Indicators:

  • Standardization and simplification of processes
  • Successful program management over Talent Acquisition’s vendor partnerships
  • Improvements to the Talent Acquisition process based on analysis, benchmarking and/or leveraging technology
  • Success as a trusted consultative business partner

Position Requirements: 

Experience, Education & Certifications:

  • 5+ years in a Talent Acquisition function or related role
  • Experience in managing a vendor on-site program or account management role in a general staffing company, prior supervisory experience of other Recruiters and Sourcers helpful

Knowledge, skills & abilities:

  • Proven relationship management skills including a strong customer service orientation
  • Ability to partner and build rapport with business partners both internally and externally
  • Track record of identifying opportunities and driving changes to positively impact results
  • Project Management skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities effectively
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • A can-do attitude and hands on approach are requirements for assimilation into this fast-paced role.
