Sales Incentive Specialist

Job Location Minneapolis, Minnesota

Overview

This role is responsible for implementing and supporting incentives and recognition programs across sales and service channels to drive behaviors that align with Sleep Number’s mission, vision, and values, and improves engagement and retention of team members.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and improve incentive and recognition measurement methods, including pulling results, tracking, visibility and engagement support tools.
  • Identify areas of opportunity to Improve productivity and processes in sales and service Incentive programs as needed.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and cross-functional partner/leader as it relates to sales and service incentives.
  • Implement and manage monthly and annual incentive programs for sales and service teams.
  • Identify and Implement incentive and recognition program across Multi-Channel environment.
  • Implement and manage new team members incentive program, (Sleep Professional and Sleep Export programs) to drive behavior and engagement.
  • Drive improvement of processes within incentives for accuracy, timeliness, and customer experience.
  • Manage and Improve Invoice tracking process for all incentive programs and Incentive budget.
  • Primary point of contact for the WOW recognition platform. Manage content and WOW platform evolution.
  • Using knowledge of sales and service incentive programs to drive change for maximum return on investment.

Qualifications

Experience, Education & Certifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years sales background, desired
  • Minimum of 2 years managing sales incentive programs, desired
  • High School Diploma required; four year degree desired

Knowledge, skills & abilities:

  • Intermediate computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook required)
  • Strong follow-up, attention to detail and strong organization is a must
  • Analytical and accurate with data manipulation; very strong Excel skills (VLookup, PivotTable, Data sorts, If statements)
  • Team-oriented and strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to be flexible; work in quickly changing, high stress environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
