Finance Manager- Supply Chain

Job Location Minneapolis, Minnesota

Provide financial leadership and analytical insight to maximize the effectiveness of operational leaders and drive profitability. Partner with business functions to achieve key financial and operational objectives.  Effectively execute month end and reporting processes to support supply chain finance functions.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and annual close processes for supply chain finance.
  • Provide direct financial support to Assembly Distribution Centers (ADC’s) including: expense analysis and forecasting, capital planning and support of operational efficiency projects.
  • Support Inbound Value streams that support a total cost model and cross functional analysis.
  • Provide leadership and development to Sr.Cost Accountant and Financial Analyst including indirect support of business partner financials.
  • Support inventory analysis including obsolescence tracking and supplier risks.
  • Oversight of cost accounting including: standard setting, inventory capitalization and variance analysis.
  • Maintain internal control processes and standards to ensure compliance.
  • Identify internal finance process improvements to streamline analysis and reporting.
  • Partner with business partners to identify, quantify and implement cost savings initiatives.
  • Take on ad hoc and special projects as assigned by Finance Department leaders.


  • BA/BS Degree in business/finance/accounting/economics/related field
  • MBA, preferred
  • 5+ years progressive finance experience including key experiences in decision support
  • Previous experience in cost accounting preferred

Knowledge, skills & abilities:

  • Ability to independently resolve problems
  • Proficient with Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Excellent communication skills (including written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of ERP systems
