Analyst- Associate Business

Job Location Minneapolis, Minnesota

Overview

The Associate Business Analyst will work with the business units and IS teams to help support, maintain and enhance business systems and applications.

Primary Responsibilities(What are this position’s top 5-7 major areas of responsibility?)

  • Reviews, analyzes, evaluates, and designs business systems and user needs for low to medium complexity systems, or components of larger systems
  • Triages, troubleshoots and resolves incidents and problems as assigned
  • Executes tasks and manages processes according to established procedures
  • Responsible for execution of test cases and scripts as part of functional and application testing for incident s and projects
  • Provides post rollout support to projects and system enhancements
  • Assists with detailed capture of user stories or changes required to build or modify systems
  • Develops and maintains process and design documentation using existing documentation framework.
  • Ensures all system changes adhere to testing and change control approval processes
  • May participate on small to medium projects and system enhancements
  • May create end-user training material and support delivery of user training

Experience, Education & Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • 1-3 years industry experience in a business or technology function
  • Strong analytical skills, problem solving mindset, and technical aptitude
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office and collaboration tools
  • Experience using CRM or ERP systems such as Oracle, Siebel or BI a plus
